Assam Agricultural Competitiveness Project (AACP):

a World Bank Funded Project sponsored by Agriculture Department, Govt. Of Assam was identified the Gauripur Vivekananda Club (GVC) as Nodal NGO (NNGO) for Assignment of ARIASP activities in Dhubri District in August, 2001. Since then, the NNGO is assigning the AACP activities successfully in Dhubri District.

Coverage of Health Sector under NRHM:

a) Engagement of FNGO

Gauripur Vivekananda Club has been identified as Mother NGO (MNGO) by the Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Assam to assist the NRHM Department along with the District Health Society, Dhubri District with the engagement of following 4 (four) Field level NGO (FNGOs):

b) Awareness on ‘Nischay’ Pregnancy Test Card (PTC) and Clip Chart  etc.

GVC (MNGO) has conducted the Demonstration and Motivational Training to the ASHA & ANM Staff in Dhubri District under NRHM regarding PTC as below:

 

The above training was sponsored by Hindusthan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) 

 

c) Village Health & Sanitation Campaign (VHSC) under NRHM

To train up the ASHA, AWW, G.P. Members, PRI and other Members of Village Committee, the GVC, MNGO itself and the FNGOs were engaged to conduct 

VHSC Training to the following Block PHC regarding Rural Sanitation as below:
