This NGO has its own land and Building including Water,Sanitation and Electricity with Residential facilities for 60 persons.CAPART, CSWB, EDI-I, NABARD, NIPCCD, UNICEF,KVIC, NRHM, RGVN, CML, Ministry of HRD, Ministry of I & B, Ministry of F & W, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Handloom & Textile, Youth Affairs & Sports etc Gauripur Vivekananda Club (GVC) is a Nodal Non Government Organization (NNGO) has been engaged to assigned the activities of Assam Agricultural Competitiveness Project (AACP), in Dhubri District.GVC is also engaged as Mother NGO (MNGO) to speed up and to the NRHM (National Rural Health Mission) activities in Dhubri District.
Activities
Attended Inter State National Integration Camp at Tirupati (A.P) in 1984,Barmer (Rajasthan) in 1986, Calicut (Kerala) in1978, Kathua (J & K) in1990 This NGO itself organized Inter Regional Integration Camp, Youth Leadership Training Camp in Dhubri District sponsored by NYK, Dhubri.
Education
Continued Project on Adult Education (1987-91) and Non Formal Education (1991-2000) under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
Continued Condensed Course of Education for Adult Women in HSLC Standard, M.E. Standard, Pre-Primary Education and Nutrition Feeding Centre for Child. Opened a Reading Library, distributed School Books and School uniform to the poor student in free of cost. Donated 12 pairs of Desk and Benches to 1674 No Gauripur Girls LP School in l991.
Publishes Prathamick Path Part-I, Part-II & Part-III (Adult Literacy Primer) in Assamese approved by the IPCL Board under Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.
Producing Improved Gypsum Chalk Pencil under the technical support from National Literacy Mission and RRL Jammu after completing training at RRL Bhubaneshwar (Orrisa) during 06-05-1991 to 13-05-1991.
Agro Productivity
Distributed 15 No Shallow Tube Well (STW) Diesel Pump set for Community Irrigation among Landless and Marginal Farmers in free of cost, Technical Training and Field Demonstration of Scientific Method of Agro-Productivity, insisting on manure and natural fertilizer instead of pesticide and chemical fertilizer to avoid future danger of productivity.
